Bruno Munari: aria-terra
Air and Earth: In these two opposites there is space for the munarian vision of the world and art, in a continuous antinomy that is truly synergy between the two elements. A philosophy that has always been the engine of Munari's artistic production, and which is the thread of the exhibition curated by Guido Bartorelli. The exhibition was realized by Fondazione Palazzo Pretorio di Cittadella with the support of the Department of Cultural Heritage of the University of Padua and the advice of the Bruno Munari Association, which was inaugurated on April 9 and opened until November 5, 2017. Text in Italian.
Bruno Munari: Air and Earth is a catalog that tells these two poles, depicted on display in two sections: the air, the lightness of suspended unmanned cars, concave conveys, the air and UFO happening, the Weather Station, the Wind Toy, the mathematics that becomes color in the Curves of Peano. And then the earth, where 'mental mood swings in doing'; where art Munari's idea becomes concrete in the Falkland lamp. They close the Rooms of Making, with the game that becomes the vehicle to say that having learned something does not mean you can not create anything new again. To always ask 'what can you do?'
