A la Piscine – Marylou Faure

A la Piscine – Marylou Faure

Last week we popped down to the opening night of Marylou Faure's wonderful show, 'A la Piscine'.

If you need something to brighten up a gloomy, rainy day then it's definitely worth checking it out at The Book Club London. 'A La Piscine' explores the brilliantly bold and playful work of the Parisian Artist and showcases a collection of her prints and murals.

Marylou's vibrant illustrations spark joy as this exhibition transports you to her colourful, quirky and almost dreamlike world. Often drawing beautifully curvaceous characters, Marylou's work is underpinned by a passion to create art that empowers, champions inclusivity and supports equal rights. She achieves this by creating bright, confident female characters which represent the strength and beauty of the female form. Since moving to London in 2012, Marylou has worked on a range of campaigns with well known brands such as Spotify and ASOS, and despite the variation of projects her playful style is clear throughout.

This fantastic exhibition runs until the 16th May and is a great opportunity to explore her fun and colourful collection of works which is sure to bring a smile to your face.
